Bharatanatyam – 15 years of learning under multiple Guru’s
o Christened Bharathanatyam from Smt. Bala Namachivayam, a Kalakshetra Devote
o Evolved Bharathanatyam from Guru Sri Kittappa Pillai, Thanjavur, Son of a scion of the famous Tanjore Quartet (Tanjore Style)

Vocal – Trained under Shri. Povazhakudi Ganesa Iyer, Tanjore, Smt. Gnanambika Kulendran, Tanjore University and Smt. Rajalakshmi Rajagopalan, Tanjore Music Workshop – Attended Vocal course on Keerthana’s from major Poets at Bharathiyar Palkalaikoodam, Puducherry

Children’s Theatre – Participated workshop at the CCRT, Delhi, with guidance from Prof. S.Ramanujam

Abhinayavarshini Arts Center was formed in Puducherry in 1991 under guidance of her teachers. Many of her students continued to learn and excel her dedicated teaching. There were several programs in which they have performed and established their prowesses.

She choreographed many programmes for multiple associations and has close partnership with prominent art events. Many of her students have taken part in her dance programmes when she choreographed and presented thematic dance features of many dance dramas. 10+ students had their Arangetram under her choreography and guidance. She taught Bharathanatyam in Puducherry, Germany and USA in part-time.

Abhinayavarshini Arts Center started functioning at Puducherry in 1991 and had many programmes for both mainstream and for cultural events. With creative talent, she encouraged students to take part in performances that will give, not only joy, but also meaningful social awareness. Its noted that her students also become creative and search for knowledge.
